3.8 Lifting handle
Move the lifting handle (see pos.
10 in Figure 11) forwards to place the inspection unit on
the plate.
Move the lifting handle backwards to lift the inspection unit from the
plate.
3.9 Gas brake
When applying the lifting handle (see pos.
10 in Figure 11)
for testing, the gas brake allows a soft touchdown of the inspection
unit onto the steel plate.
3.10 Transversal adjustment
Swivel the handle (see pos.
3 in Figure 11)
to the right or left to move the inspection unit by 80 mm to the
corresponding transversal direction. This mechanism helps to minimize
the blind zone at the longitudinal plate edges.
3.11 Crane eyes
The trolley is equipped with three eyelets. They shall be used for any
lifting operations which may be required for transportation purposes.
3.12 Exchanging the socket
and the shaft
